Que tal everyone?! How did you all love conference? I still haven't gotten to see all of it yet but what we saw of it was pretty amazing. I loved how much they talked about service and missionary work. It really is so true that when we completely turn outward and focus on other people and their needs first, then we start to feel happier. Another thought from this week was how often do we let things of the world over power and get in the way of our faith and goals? I hope these habits I'm developing of diligence and centering Christ in all I do carry with me after the mission.
We're finding lots of new investigators from the streets and from members and it's awesome, there's really so much work to be done here and there's just not enough time to do it all, I love it. Spread the Gospel with every and anyone you can, we really are in "Los últimos días" (La Iglesia de Jesucristo de Los Santos de los últimos dias). Especially with the Vegas incident. My heart and prayers go out to all affected and I'm grateful non of you were, but it's scary to think that were in the last days. Everyone needs the Gospel, so SPREAD IT! I hope you can all find something you loved from conference and put it on social media!
Also can I just talk about how much I'm in love with my investigator Teodora? She's so cute and just so full of love. I'm so excited for her baptism next week! She made us arroz con leche this week and that was amazing. Then for noche de hogar her cousin made us arroz con leche mazamorra Mirada. I don't know what would come up if you search that but do it. IT WAS SO GOOD. Peruvian food is seriously amazing. I can't wait to show you guys pictures of Teodora!
So I decided this week one day to count how many bread baguettes I saw from people on the street and in not even a whole day I counted 41! Oh i love Spain. And the bunny continues to return just about every night. Also a Peruvian man in our ward was making me taste a pepper that was apparently super picante (spicy) lol and it wasn't at all, he was like freaking out and would only eat like a rice size piece with like a whole piece of bread.
Anyways, my p day will be back to Monday again next week! Love you all mucho mucho!
