2 Months

It feels like it's been 2 days not 2 months!

So the priesthood is so so real and amazing, my comp and i had like a stomach virus for over a week and it was just not going away so we asked the elders for a blessing and we were both better that night. The power of God is real everyone and we can truly be blessed only through the correct authority, the priesthood.

Zone conference was Friday! All of Madrid was at this one so it was fun to see who's all around and meet lots of people and see all my friends from the MTC! We also have the opportunity now of having smart phones and Facebook! Each companionship has a smartphone and we've already seen so many blessings with being able to contact more of our investigators through whatsapp which is a form of contact that more people use here than texting and no one answers their phone lol so it's been cool! We also will get to share the gospel through Facebook and teach and hopefully find lots more investigators! With all this new stuff comes a lot of responsibility but I know blessings come from obedience and I'm excited!

I committed one of our investigators to baptism this week!! She is the sweetest lady in the world. She's from Peru and is living with her cousins, one of which is an active member. This was our second lesson with her and the spirit was so so present and she told us about how she lost her daughter and the fact that we could tell her where her daughter is and that they can be together forever was SO COOL!!! She committed to the 14th of October, which is the same day as a few other investigators. I'm excited to continue teaching her and helping her come unto Christ and prepare herself. What a blessing it is to see so many people that are so prepared and getting to be here and help them in their progression. Then we heart attacked her door the next day lol she loved it!! We also got another investigator this week and met so many wonderful people!

I gave a talk in our ward this week and it was a lot of fun, it's weird sometimes like talking and thinking in another language and not really realizing it but I got a lot of compliments so either people felt bad for me or I'm actually progressing in my Spanish.

So we talked a lot about noche de hogar this week which is family home evening. I never really realized how special and important it is! Even if it's just 20 minutes a week, I encourage all of you to set aside family time to invite the spirit and learn about the gospel! Also people here do consejo de familia which I think is really funny but super cool. They just basically sit around and get all their problems out haha so if you guys wanna do that too go for it.

Love you all! The Church is true and the mission is so cool! Press forward firm in faith!
