Highlights!: Teodoras birthday!! She's the cutest thing. She put a huge candle in a glass candleholder in the middle of her cake because they didn't have another one haha it was awesome. That same night we found 3 new investigators! Later that week we ate with her and she fed us cow belly...COW BELLY. I thought it was seafood at first to then sadly find out it wasn't, I highly don't recommend. Also the wife (an investigator) of Alex who just got baptized wanted us to take this vespa to our ward mission leader and to this day we still don't know why but at like 9:45 at night we walked a vespa from one side of Leganés to the other and our ward mission leader was just standing outside his piso laughing lol it looked pretty funny but whatever ya gotta do to help some people out ya know.
In my studies this week I really studied and thought a lot about the story of the tree of life and how it's such a good and powerful one, but I feel like we take it for granted sometimes cuz we just know it so well, but we should share it with people BECAUSE we know it so well and we talk about it so much because it's so important. I love the last verse in 37 that says and when it says that Lehi exhorted his children with all feeling of a tender parent... a question we get most often is why is there so much bad in the world and trials if there is a god...well why do parents discipline their children? Gods not trying to punish us or anyone, he just gives us trials, challenges, and experiences with "all the love of a tender parent" to help us learn, grow, and blossom into Christlike people, and from this story we know he has given us so many resources and tools, the fruit, to help us do that.
We did an ayuno de inglés esta semana, so we could only speak in Spanish all the time, I actually loved it and it helped me out! We also passed by a less active member this week who hasn't been to church in 18 years and had told herself she was gunna go that morning and then didn't and we happened to pass by her that night. Coincidences don't happen guys, the spirit is present in every part of missionary work.
I love you all and hope you're all safe and doing well, thank you for the constant love and support and I truly appreciate you all!
