Viva La Vida España

HOLA HOLA, que wow! This week has been amazing and filled with so many ups and downs. I had paella for the first time this week, played a lot more soccer, and learned a lot more Español!

I'm getting a lot closer with the Hermanas at this CCM, Hermana Nelson specifically is my favorite, she speaks Spanish in the most American accent I've ever heard, and is just always in a good mood and making us all laugh. I hope she's one of my comps in the field.

A Sister from Albania got to the MTC and her story is crazy, she was set apart as a missionary Sunday and I was just crying the whole time, just so happy for her and grateful that I was able to be with a supportive family in my home during that time and with my family for my endowment, she was endowed today! Her parents kicked her out of her house and she was living with her grandma, and she still decided to come on a mission and is always so happy. I love it and her example.

Today for P day we went to the Museo del Prado, absolutely beautiful. The architecture here is insane. Saw all of Velazquez and Goya's work!! It was so interesting to me to see all of the artwork and sculptures centered around the death of Christ. I'm grateful for the different outlook I have that as Mormons we like to think more about the resurrection and that he lives more so than his death. We know he sacrificed himself and atoned for us and I can't be more grateful, but he lives, and he did that so that we can all live again.

We had the opportunity to go to a huge park Saturday (something they do every week), and we have an hour to go around with a different companion and just talk to people! I got to hand out my first books of mormon and talk to people who were really interested! We even got a reference, it's amazing how when you're both so in tune with the spirit, you both feel prompted to talk to the same people and it's even better when it turns out great!

Not much longer here in the CCM, I'm dying to get out in the field! I haven't heard much more about the people and families in Barcelona but keep them in your prayers, the missionaries there as well. Love you all so so much!
