I've made it to España! The Spain CCM is incredibly different than Provo, the whole CCM is smaller than the size of my zone in Provo! It's really different but it's new and awesome and I will adjust within a couple days. My P day here is Thursdays but were 8 hours ahead of Utah time for anyone that plans on emailing me these next 3 weeks, P days we get to go out and do things in different places though which is really cool! Today we went to Alcalá de Henares and walked around, got some helado and took lots of pictures. I guess we saw some famous statue of an author named Cervantes...i think, oops. Then we couldn't take the train back because somebody commit suicide by jumping in front of the train. I couldn't help but feel so grateful for the knowledge I have in this Gospel and wished our large group of missionaries would have been able to see the person right before that happened. So, we ended up making it back to the CCM though and get to go to the Madrid temple which is right outside our CCM doors!
I miss my district so much and teachers and all the friends i made at provo, leaving my companions was the hardest, But that's the whole mission, you transition and share your love and joy and meet new people. We heard from M Russell Ballard at the devo on Sunday, that was so cool, I'm blessed to have seen 2 apostles before I left. My flight went well and I had some pretty good food in the Paris airport. Sister Blaise is my new companion, who I knew before the mission, so it's a lot of fun! Our last American meal was Cafe Rio in the airport.
I definitely think I'll pick up the language a lot better being at this CCM, all the teachers are natives or from somewhere in Europe and you speak it and hear it a lot more than Provo obviously and Saturday we get to go talk to people in the park and sing in the park. And I got to play soccer yesterday! That was awesome, there's some good players out here!
I'm excited for these next 3 weeks here and even more excited to get into the field and start teaching and spreading this Gospel that I love so much.
You guys are amazing!!!
