Halloween and Baby Showers in Spain

This week was so much fun and so spiritual and special as always!

So Halloween was a little crazy! We thought it would be a good idea to tape candy to some cards that in Spanish said "what are you going to be for Halloween? I'm mormón!" lol and the front of the cards are the "Soy Mormón" cards. But we went out to an area that we forgot is a little sketchy lol and so we basically got attacked by children! It was pretty hilarious though, Halloween isn't like a big thing here but there were definitely lots of kids out grabby for candy! Also I dressed up as a mime (I wore a black and white striped shirt) lol. But it was cute!

We're so close to committing a mom and her 2 kids to baptism and they're awesome. The boy is always like jittery during the lessons and doesn't pay much attention but always wants to be the one to read and actually reads when we commit them to haha.

We also went to a baby shower this week which was hilarious and insane. Johahna, our investigator soooo close to baptism invited us and needed help with it and we don't even know how she got in charge of it because she didn't even know the girls name, but we planned all these games and we made them a board that said baby shower and the baby's name which was pretty cute. But they played pin the caca on the diaper and had to feed people baby food with a blind fold which were pretty sure was really old yogurt... And Johahna made me sing Como la Flor for everyone on karaoke. But we got to help out a lot and got a lot of numbers and met some very interesting people! Also our lesson with Johahna ended this week with like all of us crying and we could finally see the real change in her. The Gospel really truly changes people for the better and it's just incredible.

Last night we brought a chico to a JAS noche de hogar, and a guy from Cali was there that served here! And he knows my friend Alex and it was just so cool to see people from home and I actually met him like a while ago in Cali so small world! But I love the ysa (JAS) here, it feels almost like I'm with my ysa ward from Cali, they're so awesome.

Today we went to Segovia which is absolutely beautiful and there's castles and all kinds of beautiful architecture! I have a lot of pictures so I'll try to send lots!
