A New Year Full of "Grape" Resolutions

I try to get creative with my subject lines but I'm just so not funny at all. Basically when they celebrate new years here in Spain they eat 12 grapes which represents 12 "deseos" lol so like wishes or resolutions for the new year! We got to celebrate with Joana and her family and when we all shared 1 deseo she shared that she hopes her family can get baptized soon.  I love her so much. And the amazing Ashley (her daughter that's 5) said she hopes God stays close with her and when she's older she can have a garden and live in a queen castle haha. Words don't explain my love for the girl

So we had some pretty powerful lessons this week with one of our friends, she's 16. We taught her the plan of salvation and she originally didn't believe in God or that there's life after death and by the end of the lesson she goes "wait, is this real?" And we just looked at her with so much love and desperation and we just were like YES yes yes its real! It's so real! And you can feel it! You can feel that God is there and that this is real if you ask him! We had another lesson with her whole family yesterday and she's basically committed for baptism. Almost her parents! And her older sister is already a member. The plan of salvation is one of so much hope for people, don't ever give up an opportunity to share it with someone. Most of the time people are "only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it." (D&C 123:12) It was a really special experience. I'm really sad that I'll probably be missing a couple baptisms this next transfer of these wonderful people I've gotten to teach for so long but I'm so excited for them and the path they've chosen.

We also heart attacked lots of people and saw so many miracles from it.... Who would have known! I have such a strong testimony of this small act of service now! Our friend (that I spoke of above) her mom, would not stop talking about it and how grateful she was and no one would ever do that and she didn't think she would ever be sitting down with the Mormon missionaries and wanting to learn! We also got an appointment with a members family that we've been trying with really hard, they already come to church and have been for 4ever and are awesome, they just haven't been baptized!

Also if I haven't expressed my love for my companions recently, I freaking love them. Haha My "baby,"  Sister Clayton is incredible and progressing so much and my other companion that I train with, Sister Parkinson is amazing and such a hard worker and I love being with them so much.

Well this is my last email for the next 6 weeks! Actually, I might write one more about this next week but, I'll be home next Monday for a transfer to take care of my health stuff. Thank you all for your love and concern! I'm perfectly fine I promise!  It's hard and stinks to come home but gotta do what ya gotta do and God loves me so much and I know it and He's helping me and blessing me. Love you all so so dearly!
